As Loki kept repeatedly hunting down and capturing Kitri, she seemed to finally get bored with this chase, choosing to team up and cause chaos together while also getting the chance to finally meet Loki's monsterous children. 

Funneling much more Norse lore into this story, and I promise the ending is even more epic than the last two books.
