An era of journalism ends.. as Govindlal Vora passed away 16/05/18.The sad demise of veteran journalist, writer, thinker Govindlal Vora shook the complete media and political fitternity. And many social organisation with which Late Shri Vora was associated. Thousands of people from different fraternity gathered on the funeral day. Then after there many shok Sabhas, shradhanjali Sabhas organised in different organisations across the state. Govindlal Vora was very Jubilant and charismatic personality having his followings not only in the field of media and journalism, but also in political and social circles as well. Best known for his Fearless writings let it be the editorial page, special article on current issues, Book writings etc he was always straight and precise. Not only for his writings, he was most respected because of well behaved, humble, polite and respectful approach he had with everybody let it be his contemporaries, seniors or juniors. His expression of thoughts in words was excellent. His contributions in the field of media, education, social organisations, cooperative societies can never be forgotten. He never participated in direct politics, but had many indirect controls over it. His residence at Geeta Nagar Choubey coloney witnessed many major political events & developments that took place, right from undivided Madhya Pradesh to Chhattisgarh. Today hundreds of people which includes VIP from all across are coming and paying homage to the departed soul. His elder brother Motilal Vora who himself is stalwart and statesman of Congress Party & has been chief minister twice of Madhya Pradesh, Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Central minister presently is member of parliament Rajya Sabha and treasurer of All India Congress Committee is seen with saddened face, some how managing to speak to all visitors.
