What most dictionaries or encyclopedias won't tell you is that its suffocating, in its beauty it draws attention from the stability of walls. It steals its sunshine, places an unwanted mask on the wall. This collection of poetry is my wall throwing out the ivy. Stealing back its shine. So this is me letting the hurt go, and I hope that within these pages you find yourself slowly healing too. Don't let the ivy steal your sun.
