The Binding

I watched as this young man dropped on his knees at his wives dead body, her blood still fresh and her body warm. Her eyes had just glazed over, watching her aura float away I felt a bang in my non-existent chest, I was envious at the fact that her soul could start a new life in a body that needed her more. Her husbands cry brought my eyes back to the scene Infront of me, the tang of metal and blood hung heavily in the air brought me back to similar affair. I close my eyes as I shake my head, I turn away from this man. I look over my shoulder my heart full of sympathy I know he will recover but he has a bit of trauma to go through.
For some the horrors of the world excite them, for the unsolved questions and answers to know what happened or what occurred. But what would they do with the truth?
