Forever Night Stand
My luck with a guy has been sucks for a while. My friend told me that maybe I need to try a new way. I always take everything seriously in relationships. So she suggested that I try a one night stand. Maybe that will break the curse of my love life. So, when the chance comes of course I'm going to try it. But my friend failed to mention: do not have a one night stand with your co-worker who apparently will become your boss for two weeks. Or... do not have a one night stand with someone who can make your heart does a cha-cha dance whenever you see his dimples (this is my weakness) or his cocky smile or his blue eyes... or... um... can I say everything about him? The Protector
So, this is a story about the dreams of my friends. My friend gets shot, and me and my other friends has to protect her. She is the key to a treasure that will make anyone rich, people will kidnap and kill her for it. I hope you like this, and I hope my friends will like this when I show them. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts.
