Adelaide Johnson wanted to enjoy life like any other girl but in the midst of the second world war there was no way that would ever be possible. She left behind her studies and helped in any way she could at the bullet factory trying to find some meaning within the dullness and worries of the war.

Then life took a turn and gave her an opportunity to prove her worth and help more in the war than she ever thought she could.
