"Hey, what's this?" Sagittarius picked up a newspaper from the 90s, which featured six kids huddled around a book.

"Those are the kids who went missing," Taurus replied.

She read off the names one by one. Cancer's attention was piqued as the last name was read off. He mumbled something and rummaged through his bag.

"What? What is it, Cancer?" Gemini asked.

Cancer pulled out a notebook that had the previous owner's name in the paper. In calligraphy on the cover, the owner had written, 'A Warning to the Weary Traveler.'

"What's inside?" Libra asked.

Cancer shrugged. He opened the book and all but the last page was blank.

"Trust no one," read Capricorn aloud. They glanced at each other and a chill encased the room.

------

1995. A group of friends are always seen hanging out with each other, up to the point where they collectively go missing. They are never found.

25 years later, 2020. A total of six students get detention together for various criminal acts. While scraping gum off of desks, they come across an old newspaper from 1995. The one of the missing kids. Looking deeper, the kids become intrigued in the way these kids disappear.

However, the kids dismiss these findings and go their separate ways, until fate finds them together again. Unlikely friendships and formed and broken apart but one fact remains clear:

History repeats itself.

"I thought I might pass out again, the only thing that kept me awake was the fact that the Sign on my wrist sizzled like oil on a frying pan. At first I thought it was just the aftermath of the intravenous drip but when I looked at it I nearly screamed. The skin around the Ophiuchus symbol, was peeling off, I didn't touch it. My wrist was red and throbbing. I don't think it was bleeding but then I saw drops of blood and quickly pulled down my sleeve, covering my hand. I never saw much of my second Sign since Granny always made me cover it up but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to peel off of my hand." Belle's story continues as she trains at the rebel hideout, Crimsyn State. She learns to cope with her Constellations and deal with the astrological hardships of Ophiuchus. Along with a few heirs of the Twelve Major, Belle attempts to bring her friends to the rebel hideout and tries to complete the group of twelve descendants to fight against the Hydras. During her time at Crimsyn State, Belle discovers the secrets her mother left for her. She realizes there is more to the Stars and Constellations than her imagination could conceive. Includes the poem, Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness by Inaya Sohail. The cuts and bruises were too much to bear. The world around me was spinning, And the streaks of dirt in my hair. And the light never dimming. The light so bright, It felt like there were gazillion fires. I thought I might go blind For I wasn't lying- I wasn't a liar. Published-29/09/19 Completed-26/01/20

Zodiac High is a special school funded by the government. While most schools focus on academic and physical aspects of children this school focuses on a more basic aspect within everyone. Character and personality. Character is built through having life experiences and learning from them. Personality is what is born from the choices that people make. These personalities can be put into 12 categories. Ranging from the happy-go-lucky Gemini to the all-too-honest Capricorn. The enigmatic Scorpio or dreamer Pisces. So many personalities to choose from making it difficult to know which one is the right for you. So how do you know which personality fits with who you are as a person? That's why an entrance exam was designed for those who are uncertain. The personality that you sync with at the highest percentage is the one that you will enroll as. That's basically why my mother enrolled me as a student here. She had said something along the lines of "If you continue living as you do now, you won't be able to fit in with society" or something like that, I'm not really sure. I just remember feeling unnaturally indifferent about it. That's also why I answered as honestly as possible to see if one of the zodiac personality categories fits with me. This meant that I should have been excluded, right? That I don't "fit in with society". That should have been the case at least. So can someone please explain to me why I'm compatible with all of the personalities? How am I going to make sense of that? Now I have to interview someone from all of the different categories, just to know which personality I will enroll as. Great. Just great.
