In "A Letter to the Man in My Mirror" Leanne sees a man in her mirror one morning before school. But he's surrounded by ruins and fire, and she's left stumped when he tells her nothing and disappears. She knows she didn't imagine it, but what can she do?
And in "The Witch's Daughter", a witch makes a king and queen craving a child a potion with the promise she will fall pregnant, if the king agrees to marry the son they would have to the witch's daughter. The king agrees and his wife soon gives birth to a son, but when the witch's daughter turns out to be ugly and poor, the king refuses to let a marriage happen. The witch curses their son to be in love with her daughter, but what happens when the king tries to keep the two separate?

Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life. The day when I say 'I do' and join myself to my mate for the rest of our lives. However that's drowned out by what's still missing. Myself. I stare at my reflection in the mirror and it's almost like I can see the part of me that's missing.
