This story is both a mystery story and a science fiction one at the same time.   In this story, sixteen-year-old, Laura Jane Roberts discovers she is now no longer on earth. But where is she?  Laura is not sure of anything anymore. She just knows she is afraid. She is away from her family. She has no idea how to contact them, or how to get back home.  She just knows one thing, where she is it is not someplace she would ever wish for someone else to end up.

      Laura's parents and her brother all insist she just vanished out of the blew. They also claim the foreign object, or unidentified flying object  "ufo" may have something to do with it.   Is her family just imagining things?  or they, right?
