Book 1 of the Jackson Series!

Ella finally gets an opportunity to escape the clutches of her cruel tormentor before fate leads her to Ryder Jackson.

Broken and bruised, she soon finds comfort in Ryder who is equally as hesitant to wear his heart on his sleeve.

Both have pasts that they just want to forget and souls that need healing. Will they be able to move on together or will history catch up to them?

***

I smile shyly and move closer to his face as my eyes sneak a peek at his lips. Meeting his gaze that has darkened with desire I curl my fingers around his collar and pull him closer. "Now, are you going to kiss me?"

"Yes." He nods before leaning in until his lips are a breath away.

I pull back which makes him groan in frustration. "Promise to never let me go?"

It happens in a blur. His lips descend on mine in a hungry yet passionate kiss filled with longing. I whimper softly when his teeth bite down on my bottom lip and coax me to give in. And, I do.

His tongue meets mine as we explore each other, tasting and savoring. I tangle my fingers in his hair and tug slightly which makes him kiss me feverishly. It's like he almost doesn't want this moment to end no matter how much air is becoming a matter of priority.

I pull away first, dazed still. He follows and his lips trail over the heated skin of my neck, kissing across my jawline, teasing the corner of my lips before nibbling on my earlobe. I'm a mess as I crave more of his addictive touch. I feel like I'm flying.

"I promise to never let you go, Ella."

Book 5 of the Jackson Series! Marcella is struggling to break free from all she has ever known. Brought up in a world where she's been caged in with rules, violence and pain she longs for a better life full of freedom. But when you're in a gang escaping the life of crime is easier said than done. Deciding to let go of her inhibitions to spend an unforgettable night with a stranger it all comes crashing down when she's assigned to kill the man she can't seem to forget. *** It doesn't take me long to find Judah. He looks like poison hiding behind a pretty face, seducing you to give in before he drags you to hell for sinning. I try and think of how I can lead him away without raising suspicion. But I don't end up having to do much because Judah soon blocks my way. "Why are you hiding from me little dove?" "I'm not." I whisper back. "How about we finish what we started that day?" I blush at the memories but quickly realize this is the best excuse to get him out of the spotlight. He takes my hand before we leave through the door and check a few rooms only to figure out that they're all locked. "The rooftop's door is open." As soon as he takes the first step I trip him but he finds his footing before swinging at my ribs. What I didn't expect was for him to pounce on me and pull my dagger out of my holster before stabbing my leg. Kicking his shin with my good leg I manage to flip us over. He's just about to throw me off when I land an uppercut to his jaw. I take out my gun to end this but just as I pull the trigger I'm grabbed. "No!" I struggle as I'm tied up before they check Judah. The wound clearly missed and isn't at all fatal. I watch as he sits up with a pained groan before his eyes meet mine. "I think I'm in love." He states breathlessly with a handsome grin. Finding Ryder by istrazivanje81
30 parts Ongoing Mature
Jessica West is a rarity in her world, an alpha female blessed with sight. She has never been able to detect her own mate bond and believes she is mateless. Until she meets Ryder, an alpha heir from the neighboring pack, and her fated mate. The only problem is Ryder has a secret. Can the bond forged in the magic of fate and moon overcome the choices our past self made? excerpt: Anchoring into my skin, I slowly back away from my so-called mate. Distance is necessary. More necessary than breath. In fact I should stop inhaling his f***ing essence that clouds my head and entrances my wolf. "Answer me!" I whisper-scream at Ryder. "Yes." a pregnant pause hangs between us before he speaks again. "I am sorry Jessica. I didn't know. I didn't think it could be like this." His hands move between us, grasping for the invisible bond that ties us through the magic of our existence. His voice is pained. As if it hurts him to speak these words to me. How can he be in pain? How can a wolf choose another, it is beyond comprehension. It goes against our very nature. My mind is reeling. The inside of me is a mass of hurt, anger, frustration and arousal that won't go away. "What did you think? You would just come here, find your mate. Mark and mate her. Me! Mark and mate me, and then what, walk away?" I speak bitterly, spitting my words at him. The look on his face is a sharp slap on mine. A slow realization sinks in, cutting my soul irreparably. Ryder needed to mark and mate his fated mate to transition to full adult male. Without marking and mating ME he would forever stay juvenile in body. He couldn't inherit his alpha title. "Yes." it's a whisper, and yet his voice is so loud in my head, I choke on his spoken word.

I grin as we get to our floor and start walking down the hall. "He's not right for you." "Really? You happen to know who the perfect man is for me?" I snort as I walk backwards while facing him. He grabs my hand and tugs me towards him making me yelp as I crash into him. "Noah!" For a moment he just stares at me before tucking my hair behind my ear with a gentle smile. My poor heart races a mile a minute because I don't think he realizes that he's still holding my hand and has it placed against his chest. I realize though. I notice. Just like I notice everything he does to me and how he makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine from a single touch. "You deserve the best. Not idiots like Kane." He rolls his eyes and we both smile at each other. "You deserve perfection Faye...because from what I've seen you are the epitome of that." I swoon. You're perfection to me too Noah. Can I have you? So many thoughts were running through my mind as Liam and I stood there, face-to-face, ready to do something that could escalate my like for him or even change his perspective of me in a good or bad way. But, why was I so curious about kissing him? Part of me did want to know what it'd feel like, the other part reminded me that this was my first outside a relationship, and we couldn't count his. He sure was really experienced. In the midst of my thoughts, I felt Liam soft hand caress my cheek. My heart pounded in my chest, as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. His eyes were burning into mine, and I felt his hands travel down my back and around my waist. I felt breathless already. He gently pulled me in close to him, so close that I could feel his heart-beat against mine. An audible gulp escaped me, making him smile. A real one. I could feel the warmth in his voice as he whispered " Don't be scared, I'm not that horrible. " At that moment, I just trusted him. I nodded my head, as he tilted his and slowly leaned in. A wave of heat flooded my entire body as Liam drew me closer and closer, firmly sealing the gap between us. Oh God. This is it.
