This is a cover story for the Ella Enchanted MOVIE, not book, Movie.
Virgil is a villager of the town of Frell in the kingdom of Lamia, but not a normal villager, Virgil was given the gift of obedience by the fairy Samantha as a baby. Virgil has to do whatever anyone tells him to do because of the so-called Gift. When Virgil's dad gets remarried, bringing along a stepmother and two stepsisters for him and his brother Lewis, Virgil decides to find Samantha and get the gift removed. What he doesn't expect is to meet elves, ogres, a talking book, and even the Prince along the way.
Roman is the Prince soon to be King of Lamia. He lives with his weird twin brother Remus, and his Mysterious Uncle, Sir Edgar. He is being coronated King but never expected to meet Virgil, an anxious, sassy, villager from the town of Frell in Roman's kingdom, who can't help but steal the Prince's heart.

Virgil Anxiety Black was in his room recovering from a panic attack when the castle is stormed. His best friend, Remus Lucious, has just enough time to help him escape before throwing himself back into the battle in an effort to save his boyfriend and Virgil's brother, Crown Prince Janus.
