There is a place, far beyond the reaches of the mind, called Rapierè, which is dominated by elements. The four common elements, fire, water, air, and earth, abide in people's spirits, giving them powers beyond belief- if they're strong enough. And the ones deemed the strongest of the strong are chosen for training at a Hogwarts-esque school known as the Byrie, filled to the brim with magic. It's always been Jax Aimswood's dream to be taken to the Byrie, but he knows it's impossible, what with his freaky dual-colored eyes, white hair, and, limp. But what happens when the Byrie masters come to his town to choose 8 kids to take back with them? What happens if one of those kids is him? Is it possible...that he's just powerful as the others?

(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.

(I am completely new to this, so let me explain a bit before you read this. I started this back when I was 15; I have just now finished it. I am now 22 haha. I am no way a professional writer, but like many of the people on here I enjoy reading & have always wanted to enjoy writing. I first wrote this for the enjoyment and pleasure, this book is no where near done. I will post the finished book as soon as I fix everything in it. I realized there are many flaws, many corrections so any reviews or help, good or bad, I will be so grateful. You can not grow without help from others. So I hope you enjoy the book!)
