The four common elements, fire, water, air, and earth, abide in people's spirits, giving them powers beyond belief- if they're strong enough. And the ones deemed the strongest of the strong are chosen for training at a Hogwarts-esque school known as the Byrie, filled to the brim with magic. It's always been Jax Aimswood's dream to be taken to the Byrie, but he knows it's impossible, what with his freaky dual-colored eyes, white hair, and, limp. But what happens when the Byrie masters come to his town to choose 8 kids to take back with them? What happens if one of those kids is him? Is it possible...that he's just powerful as the others?
