People preached of taking care of their home, the delicate planet known as Earth. But no matter how much people attempted to change things for the better, the Earth still died. The larger cities died out quicker. Europe and Asia broke out into war, a nuclear bomb wiping out 80% of Europe. Radiation began to spread across the globe, carrying a disease. The disease killed many, and those who often retracted it died. There was indeed a cure found years later. People began to see hope and a new life ahead of them. The disaease was overpowered and overall stopped taking the lives of humans. The disease was later called The Reaper. Yet, society and living was still not easy. A handful of large cities survuved, buidling walls to keep their people safe. Peace finally settled across North America. Peace doesn't last forver though. Soon enough, there wasn't enough supplies to keep everyone alive. In one city on the West Coast, Los Angeles, was high in tech and the most powerful civilzation left. They began to impliment a new system to keep the population of the city limited. At the age of 14, all kids were given a test to find their physical and mental aptitude. Those who failed didn't get to stay in the city. They were shipped off out and into The Valley, the place where the kids who weren't good enough live. Rebellion is beginning to grow in The Valley when the kids figure out something: they are special.

"Monsters exist. Heroes died. Hell has taken over the world, put humans into slavery, killed men, women, and children, but there are still warriors, who are recruited. This is our world, where kids at the age of thirteen begin fighting the dangers that face our world; they train and at the age of eighteen they will be put out into the real world. Schools were built everywhere, and kids were moved up based on their age. My world was a little different, my brother and I were trained ever since we could walk; we were put into battle once we reached seven years old. Today my parents are transferring me and my brother to a new school, before we were homeschooled but since my dad and mom are going to be leaving for quite some time they thought it was best for us to go to a real school where we will interact with other groups."
