Valentina Carvajal faces the traumatic death of her father. The inability to cope, not being listened to, and having her grief turned into a headline has her turning to mezcal for the answer. When her binge buddy Rue decides to go to rehab and no longer is able to be there for her, Val takes it upon herself that the only way out is the grave; that is, until she is handed a tissue from a dark haired girl and everything in Valentina shatters.
