Summary: 

Lan Xichen felt like there's lacking in his life. After both his sworn brothers died, he realized. He needed a partner, someone to spend the rest of his life with. He had always been with his sworn brothers, and so he didn't notice. Even if Jin Guangyao, the best candidate to be a partner, is there in front of him, yet he still didn't realize. After he lost his sworn brothers, he knew of the word 'loneliness'. However, when he finally noticed the person who had always been there but he never saw, he realized how blind he had been. He had taken for granted that person's presence. 

After that meeting with Jiang Cheng, Lan Xichen finally knew the word 'love'. The love that he always sees on his brother and Wei Wuxian, yet never really understood. This time, when he saw Jiang Cheng standing tall among the sea of people, he realized. His long asleep heart that always wanted to help people can't help but to beat for him. The man he always thought as a stranger, he never knew he wanted to be his partner now. However, as he had said, they are strangers to each other. Even now that they are brothers-in-law because of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's marriage, they didn't have something common between them. Can Lan Xichen overcome this obstacle between him and Jiang Cheng? 

How will he obtain Jiang Cheng - this 'stranger'? 

(A/N: just as I finished the Name, this popped up in my brain. It's because I reread the Refuse when one reader commented and I read it along the way. But, I think this ff will be the most realistic for me XD you'll see once you read this ^_^)

Fluff and smut about Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian from The Untamed, often featuring Wei Ying in his paper man form, a cheeky little paper imp, who I find absolutely adorable. Lan WangJi's brother, Lan XiChen will also appear occasionally. This fanfic is from the point of view of Lan WangJi, and the first 2-part story serves to recap their story so far. However, I would recommend that you at least watch the drama before reading this fanfic, as plot points and sweet moments from the drama and novel will be revealed. Wei Ying, the birth name of Wei WuXian, also called The Yiling Partiarch (by those who fear him). Called Mo YuanXu when in his new body, until his real identity is revealed. Also called Senior Wei later on in the story. Lan XiChen, the commonly used name of Lan Zhan's brother. His birth name is Lan Huan, which is almost never used in the main story. ZeWu-Jun is his chosen name, used by most. Note: this is pure fanfic, and all images used are from the drama, unless otherwise stated. All rights for the characters and plot from the novel/drama belong to the writers and producers. So in my story I want Wei Wuxian to become cold toward Lan Wangji. Ah also, since there not much story about XianWang, this will be a XianWang. Anyway.... After leaving the burial mound, Wei a Wuxian decide to go take his revenge out of Wen Chao, Wang Lingjiao and Wen Zhuliu. He end up seeing Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji again. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji end up having a fall out. Wei Wuxian decided that he doesn't want to get involved with Lan Wangji anymore. 'He doesn't understand what I went through. Put simply, if you all remember the time Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning were on the way to Yanli and Zixuan's marriage, he was shot down by several Jin's, going against given orders. He will not, however, admit to even slightly missing the boy when asked by the older nephew. During what seems like a relatively normal day, objects go flying around and cryptic messages appear in an unidentifiable crimson liquid, scrawled and messy. How will those who forgot react, let alone those who remember? ----- Most interactions will take place through Inquiry. Fluff? Very little. A somewhat fatherly/brotherly bond between Wei Ying with Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen. Angst? Most Definitely.
