Life of the party. Always down for a good time. The best lay in town. These were the things that the residents of Independence, California said about Denver. Despite living in a place as inspiring sounding as Independence, Denver felt anything like independence. She didn't even have a decision on which direction her life was headed in; her mother's pimp had that set-in-stone for her already. Tomorrow was her birthday, but really it was her birth into the life of prostitution. She was devastated and couldn't do a damn thing about it, so she spends the eve of her birthday doing what she does best. PARTY. Little did she know that going to that party was going to send her life completely off the rails. 

She was in for the party of her life the moment that she met Cole. He wasn't like anyone that she had ever met before and his allure was enough to send her on the road with a group of teenagers searching for their dreams as they worked hard and partied harder. Cole not only saved Denver from her pathetic life, but he introduced her into a family. Something that she had never before had. Now that she was out of her mother's grasp and living life on the road with a crew of misfit nomads, can Denver escape fate or will she slip right down the rabbit hole regardless?

The question isn't if Denver will fall in love, it's whether she will allow herself to completely love someone when love isn't something that she had ever been shown.

The ups and down come in a split second. You can't decide whether you want fast or slow. Dangerous or steady. But you don't get a choice. You go with the flow. No matter what. I'm Phoenix Wood, the misfit, and outcast of my town. Instead of a roller coaster my life's more like a train wreck. My adventure loving parents were lost at sea and I was left to my aunt Clare Small. Like I said, train wreck... Not roller coaster, TRAIN WRECK. Not to mention the fact that I end up stuck with the bad boy. Could it get any worse? Secrets unravel and life gets a bit more complicated that it used to be. But it must go on. She's stuck with the bad boy. Or is it the other way around?
