Gideon Saint is usually in trouble. It's his pastime to get involved in epic quests throughout history, namely the Middle Ages. Once again, he's run afoul of the Templars, and ancient organization of Wizards. This time, they are offering him the chance to right old wrongs, by retrieving a mysterious cursed blade. 1403 awaits.
Sequel Series to Last Knights of Cambia series, and the Days of the Dead trilogy, ergo it contains spoilers for those. Similar narrative style and tone, that is if you want English history explained like Lemony Snicket, then this is for you.
Ahem. Living people die, dead people live. Swords. Epic Battles. Mysterious riddles. Coded messages. True love. Traitors. Murder. Found families. Yes, Henry V is here and he is awesome. Did we mention swords? Tombs are described in loving detail. People are not. Yes you may learn something about the battle of Shrewsberry but that's a risk you're going to have to take.

A character is injured severely and must twice undergo surgery on page, this is fairly graphic and may be disturbing to some readers. Brief innuendo. Some brief strong language. Some mild sexuality.
