The Crusader is a short, quick novel set in medieval Europe. Using minimal dialogue and detail, it allows the imagination to complete the framework of the story in a way that makes it unique to each reader.

A character is injured severely and must twice undergo surgery on page, this is fairly graphic and may be disturbing to some readers. Brief innuendo. Some brief strong language. Some mild sexuality. Catholicism is discussed. All disturbing scenes are usually forewarned, that is it's clear what is going to happen. Some brief peril. Some light disturbing humor relating to murder.
