Meridian has dedicated her life to the growth of her pack. When her mate mysteriously shows up in her life, things begin to seem perfect. That is, until unknown enemies threaten the stability of the pack she's worked so hard to build. Will she lose everything, or will her love truly be able to conquer all? "It's crazy, but I saw a wolf in the woods yesterday, and something told me I should follow it. I could, um, smell honey and coconut, and I followed that smell here. You probably think I'm insane," he mumbles, smiling sadly, "and you have guests, so I'll leave now." He must not be a wolf, because we can associate certain scents with friends and loved ones, and he seemed confused by the idea. But I can't deny the sparks we felt when we touched earlier, and before I can help it I'm calling to him. "Wait, please, come inside! I'm Meridian," I smile, holding out my hand. He smiles, saying, "I'm Malachi, nice to meet you," before shaking my hand, making goosebumps spread across my skin at the contact. Clearing my throat as I blush, I step aside and let him enter my home. If he's a human, this is the dumbest thing I've ever done."Complete

I have been bounced around from one foster home to another. The only thing I could count on was camp. So far on the depressing side and boring. Well that changed this summer when I found out werewolves were no longer just in my fantasy books. Let me tell you no average teenager would cope well never mind a screwed up mental case like myself. For as long as anyone could remember, nymphs have remained safely hidden from their human neighbours. Residing in the depths of the forest, Winter knows to never venture too close towards the edge of the woods. However, she is different from the other nymphs, and they don't accept her. In an attempt to find temporary sanctuary away from her kind, she stumbles across a mysterious, and possibly dangerous, man. She knows it isn't smart to be near, let alone interact with this man, but she just can't seem to stay away... "Are you sure you want to do that?" I say with a smirk on my lips. Nothing these wolves do could hold me back. I'd slaughter the whole of them in the blink of an eye, sadistically enjoying every last second of it. Ignoring my mate, it was best to act like I hadn't even acknowledged it. As soon as I figure out how to escape this so called 'dungeon', I'm leaving him in the dust without turning back. The alpha turned to me, rage lighting a fire in his eyes. "Absolutely." I chuckled and caught the confused glances the wolves gave each other. Axel has it all, a supportive family, his best friend as his future beta, and one of the most popular students in Shadow Woods High School. He would be the happiest werewolf to ever live, if it were not for this relentless and anguishing feeling of not being good enough. He worries that if he doesn't meet his mate before he becomes alpha, he won't be able to provide enough for his pack. One day Damien crosses the wrong border, into the wrong pack, and finds himself in more of a struggle than he could have ever imagined.
Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
