This is set for when Percy escapes from Tartarus. Damasen doesn't come to aid Percy in the fight to the Doors of Death. He never saw Bob nor Small Bob while in Tartarus.

Percy falls down into Tartarus alone, causing him to turn Dark and near insanity. The glass shards keep shattering. It's nearly impossible for Percy to control his original powers and his new ones; the ones he picked up in Tartarus. Blood-bending and Control of the Rivers and Poison. He keeps hurting people. But so what? It's for good reason, isn't it? Of course it is, they just don't understand.
