References to The Rise of Skywalker may ensue in the fanfic.

The galaxy's in trouble again. Twenty-four years after the Battle of Exogol, the remnants of the First Order and the Empire have allied themselves with fledgeling sith cults from the corner of the galaxy under the queen of New Alderaan.
The Jedi are gone, burned down in the Second Purge by Darth Keera herself, leaving scattered survivors across the galaxy.
The New Republic remains tense, anticipating that the Imperial Remnant might make their move. A military ship makes a discovery in the Outer Regions that will change everything- the survival of one of the Skywalkers.

The Children of the Stars is a saga examining the story that could follow the sequels. The children of Ben Solo and Rey feature as protagonists alongside the son of Finn and Rose Tico, and the daughter of Poe Dameron and Kaydel Ko Connix. Several characters from Legends also make their appearance.

Following the events after The Last Jedi. "Just a dream, it was just a dream," she says aloud attempting to calm herself, but the feeling doesn't dissipate, and her heart is still racing. She stands and walks towards the doorway to the fresh air outside, trying to get the images out; a child her child and his. She feels sick and faint, is this a panic attack? She walks outside her hut and stands in the rain holding onto the wooden railing of the platform around the cabin tightly to give her balance. #2-Reylo 25.11.2018, 24.10.19 #1- ReyxKyloRen 1.3.2019, 6.1.22 #2- starwarsfanfiction 31.12.19 #13- starwars 21.8.19 #2- starwarssequels 10.12.20 Big fan of the movies and books. "I appreciated how much you fleshed out the story, truly making it a potential movie in the franchise. I can't not mention the romance. You truly made Ben and Rey's relationship believable on many levels. From his temper and passion to his devotion to Rey, I loved how you didn't make light of his past so that we can accept him easier. They complete each other and their love brings balance to the universe and gives them what they have always wanted - true acuhceptance and companionship." "I have not encountered anything so truly amazing since 'Bloodline' (Claudia Grey)." "I have read so much fanfiction, normally I don't read smutless stories, but this one is so well written, beautiful ending and I couldn't stop today until I finished it." "This is one of, if not the best Reylo books I have read so far."

This is my version of the third chapter of the new Star Wars trilogy. I will not change anything that happened in either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. I will uphold the restrictions that resulted from the sad death of Carrie Fisher and will only draw from the deleted scenes or audio from pre-existing Star Wars movies and properties. Whilst I appreciated what Last Jedi was trying to do, I did not actually like it. However, I have no intention of undoing any of the main plot points or revelations that were in it. E.g. Rey will certainly not be a Palpatine. The story will not contain any Reylo. I know, I know: I love it too, but it was really weird seeing it as canon in the Rise of Skywalker. Do not expect it here. I am a big Star Wars fan and will be adding things from as wide a field as possible. All planets will be based on actual places mentioned or visited in the various movies and tv shows. Character and ship photo guides are at the very end. Disclaimer upfront: No copyright infringed intended, I do not own the rights to any of these characters, places or plots. I have copied and pasted the cover art from an amazing poster. I do not own the rights to it.
