Notorious alien hitman Axel is hired by General Dominick of Detri to destroy a star in the Milky Way. Unbeknownst to Axel, the assassination of the star may prove to be fatal for the inhabitants of Earth, the humans. Now caught in a web of lies and deceit, Axel must figure out what the real purpose of his mission is, so that he may break the illusion of knowledge, and save the dying human race.

Along the way, he will be assisted by the likes of Stella, nimble pickpocket, and Ra'amen, a century-old traveller forgotten in history. Will the Star Slayer carve the constellations with his legend?
