But, its been two years now and she slowly begins to heal and almost comes into terms with what had happened.

School is starting and AJ is already dreading it. Little did she know that her life was about to be turned upside down all over again... and the cause for such an occurrence? Lets just say a certain family returns to town, along with a boy named Chris.

Josh and Katie have been best friends since he first moved nextdoor midway through freshman year. They were attached to the hip and acted like they've known each other for years. Josh Parker was the all American boy who all the girls wanted, including Katie. As Katie and Josh's friendship blossomed she quickly formed a crush on Josh, but as the years progressed, her crush turned into love. Five years after leaving Miami brokenhearted after finding out about Josh's engagement to his childhood sweetheart. Katie unexpectedly reunites with her former best friend, and Josh quickly realizes that his feelings for her are not just platonic anymore. * As I'm walking out of work I get a call from my brother to pick my niece up from school. For the past 4 years that little girl has had me wrapped around her finger and I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately I got stuck in traffic on the way over so I'm late for pick up. Once I get to Melanie's classroom I fill out the sign out sheet that's on the wall and make my way into the classroom. I faintly hear Melanie laughing so I know she's not upset from me being late. "Hey I'm so sorry. I got stuck in traff..." I said stopping mid sentence, stunned at the woman in front of me. Standing in front of me is someone I considered one of the most important people to me back in highschool. As soon as I looked into those Caribbean blue that I used to know so well, I knew it was her. It takes her a few seconds to realize who I am. She stands there stunned. We continue to stare at each other until she breaks the silence. "Josh?" She asks not believing it's actually me. "Hey Katie girl." Book 3 of the It Just Happened Series. (Completed) You can read it as a stand alone, but I recommend reading It Just Happened. Stacy Adler plays by her rules and no one else's. Something dark from her past has her closed off to relationships. The problem is one man has her questioning everything she has done up to this point in life. Chris Dawson deep down is a romantic, goofy kind of guy. He should be every girls dream, but they always go for the bad guy. That he is given up on finding the right person for him. One crazy night changes it all and he never thought it would be with...her. They haven't been on good terms since highschool. One kiss and it changes everything. "What the hell did you do to me woman?" "Shut up! You came onto me the first time. Jackass!" "God, you are insufferable." "And you were the worse lay ever! If Jaxon and Lucas weren't..." She never got to finish that sentence. Chris pins her to the wall a fire blazing in his eyes that she has never seen before in any man. His tongue trails up her neck until his lips hovers over hers. "Are you sure about that, Spitfire?" Sucking on her bottom lip, his body presses against hers. She whimpers because the heat between them is more than she has ever felt before. It scares and thrills her at the same time. Never admit your weakness. Lesson learned from a long time ago. "No...I mean yes." "Which one is it, Spitfire?" "I don't fucking know!" She yells but his lips shut her up with a hot searing kiss. "Let me remind you over and over again." Sometimes the past comes back to bite you in the ass. It comes with a vengeance and throws everything you have built to come crashing down. Can she overlook her past to move ahead with her future? Copyright © 2022 All rights reserved. Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
