Soldiers from the city of Cordelia have finally reached the ruins of the city of Malden in the hopes of finding the research that was left behind on stronger weapons to help aid them in eradicating the Cryptids from the world. Alma Fowler accompanies her team in search of the coordinates while fighting to stay alive. Unbeknownst to her, she is about to get the surprise of her life. New humans have arrived on Earth, having been stuffed in a space station for half a millennium. With them they bring disaster. Not only does Alma have to save her team and herself, but also find any survivors from the fallen spacecraft before they meet their end at the grotesque mouths of The Cryptids.
