Emma Rose Santana has recently moved into a small town with her family for a better life despite the ongoing relationship problems in the family.
When Emma's mother, Anna, purchases a lifelike angel statue with a cursed reputation from Silverside High's golden boy, Mason Geller's garage sale, things take a horrible turn in the Santana family.
Emma and her sister, Clarice, start witnessing strange occurrences in their house, from the angel statue changing locations to horrible nightmares that feel all too real. On the other hand, Emma faces a conflicting relationship between Mason Geller and his mysteriously handsome ex-best friend, Josh Price, with a dark past possibly related to the angel statue.
Emma's parents don't seem to believe a statue made of stone could do this, but they seem to be hiding a secret of their own, just like Mason and Josh.
As Emma deals with her broken relationship with her mother and a tragic incident with a person she loves dearly, Emma and her friends unravel the truth behind the angel statue, who is much sinister than it looks, along with the dark secrets Mason and Josh have been suppressing for so long.
