"I think you better take back what you just said." "Well I don't think so." Jonathan stared at the strikingly beautiful woman before him. She had been haunting his dreams for months now. Especially since Emerald had been mysteriously abducted and rescued. His eyes roam over her figure and landed on her cotton covered breast. Breast that heaved up and down against a top that seemed it would pop open. "You could look at my face you know." Clearing his throat, Jonathan dropped his arms that were crossed across his chest. "I said take it back.". "No." He did not know what it was about the woman before him, but she riled him up. The yellow light of the room cast her in a sensual glow. This was the second time in her presence and right now more than anything he wanted to bed her. Her raven black hair beckoned to have it captured in his fist as her legs were wrapped around his waist. Neither one of them could with stand the pull or fight against nature. Raking a shaky hand over his lightly covered beard face. Jonathan closed his eyes. "You need to go." "Excuse me?" "I said you need to go. I want you to stay away from Emerald. Your behavior is influencing her." The rise and fall of Shelby's chest increased as Emerald's father's words resonated with her head. "Stay away from Emerald." The hell she would. That child had been calling her mommy for months. She had rescued and protected the child. Shelby knew she wasn't going anywhere. As usual she acted on impulse. Stepping forward she grabbed the front of his polo shirt and pulled him into a kiss. Time had no meaning as their lips melded together. Feral tongues that played the game of cat and mouse. Savoring the taste of each other until soft spoken words broke them apart. "Daddy I think you should stop kissing mommy like that before you guys make a baby."

I opened the door, the apricity of the moonlight blooming over the figure lying on the bedthe same woman who had fought with me only hours ago, and now lay tucked inside my shirt, my wife. I knelt beside her, my fingers brushing her cheek as she stirred at my presence, slowly opening her eyes. "What are you doing? Stop," she murmured softly, turning away from me. I traced my hand down her back. "Why are you still awake, sweetheart?" I asked quietly. "Are you worried that your sleeping pills aren't working?" A smirk cut across my face. My clever girl always saw through me. "So you didn't eat, sweetheart?" "No. And because of you, I can't even live peacefully," she whispered, eyes shutting as if to erase me. I wiped the sheen of sweat from her neck ,sweat born of heaven and hell. "Don't touch me, Aven." I unbuttoned my shirt slowly; she still wouldn't face me. "You love beaches... this place should give you peace." "Not when you exist... and I'm nowhere in the world." A dark chuckle escaped me. "You've neither slept nor eaten, sweetheart. Get up."My breath dragging as she spoke "Why is there no lock on the bathroom, but there's one on the bedroom?" I sat beside her, leaning in, words like a blade wrapped in velvet. "So I can keep you locked up, walk in whenever I want... and f-ck you whenever I need, no matter where you hide." Her tear slid free as I turned her toward me. Her body felt breakable, a storm trapped in heat. Even with a hateful heart, she clung to me as I lifted her and carried her to the bathroom. Her tear slid free as I turned her toward me. Her body felt breakable, a storm trapped in heat. Even with a hateful heart, she clung to me as I lifted her and carried her to the bathroom. "You're a monster... I hate you," she whispered, a prayer and a curse. "I'll be anything you name me, sweetheart," I murmured, eyes burning into hers. "You own me... and I own you more."
