What would you do if your best friend was slowly going insane, yet you knew that there was nothing you could do? 

Adeline has all eyes on her. 

Connor couldn't get eyes on him if he tried. 

Adeline needs to get into a good college. 

Connor just needs to pass high school, and then he's out of the picture. 

Adeline's only hope is to calm down. 

Connor's only hope is to get serious. 

But when the teens find themselves ACTUALLY talking to each other, both learn pretty quickly that they're in way over their heads. 

Adeline is in trouble.

And Connor just might be responsible for more than she thought.

When they left me for dead my eyes began to droop and the last thing I saw through fuzzy tunnel-like sight was a man running towards me before one final rattling breath coursed through my broken body and my heart stopped beating.
