For two long years Cole Phillips has been down on his luck; drowning in it actually. First he lost his mother, then his lover, and finally his dreams. Nevertheless, Cole is determined to make this thing called life work, even if all it tries to do is bring him down. He won't let his mother's death stop him from laughing. He won't let his lover's betrayal stop him from loving. He won't let his lost dreams stop him from living- even if he doesn't know how right now.

Of course, life has a way of kicking people while they're down. But, after losing his job and losing his home, an opportunity arises that could be the solution to all his current problems. However, it comes with a catch; a dark and mysterious catch by the name of Colin Reid.
