Fallon Solveij was born into the Royal House of the Blodvinger clan. Her father, Chieftain Beowulf, was the most vicious Viking of them all. He proved that when he banished his own daughter from their clan, and ordered her execution.
But that was three days ago, and Fallon is still alive. Stumbling through the icelands of Barwyn, Fallon flees. She makes her way towards a new life in another territory, with another clan. Even if by some miracle she makes it there alive, Fallon isn't safe anywhere, not in this world at least.
Once in the new land, she meets a very peculiar new friend by the name of Elowen. She opens Fallon's eyes to a world she only knew existed in storybooks, pages full of tales of Faeries and the Little Folk of the forest.
After being discovered, and having nothing left in this word, Fallon and Elowen escape into the next. Their doorway is the Entrance Tree, a grand ash tree that serves as the only way into the realm of Elphyne. There is one rule to its magik: only someone with Fae blood can open the doorway.
Once in the new realm of Elphyne, the home of the Fae people, Fallon begins her journey to discover how she is so much more than the Chief's bastard daughter. An old Fae woman take in Fallon and her friends and shows them how everything is not as perfect it seems. The realm is in danger, and burning to the ground in the hands of its tyrant leader, Fritjof Aodh. After the queen's untimely death years ago, and with no royals left, power fell to the leader of the castle guard. Fritjof has a plan to break the will of the people and their leaders, making himself all powerful and ending the tradition of blood rule. A champion must come forward to save Elphyne and its people from his dark reign, and there is only one who can. Someone with a power ancient enough to defeat Fritjof, and someone who has the birthright to the Ash Throne.Tutti i diritti riservati
