Hunted By Shadows

Terra has lived a difficult life. Tormented by nightmares of a death she can't remember, whilst struggling to bury the memories of a lost father, she must deal with a severally sick family member whilst juggling several jobs. Torn in several directions, her world seems utterly devastating.

Then, one night something breaks into her house. Something NOT human. Something NOT animal. Something deadly and dangerous - but during what she thought would be her final moments, she blacks out only to wake a short while later with no recollection of what happened - all she knows it that the thing that had come close to killing her - is now dead and she holds a bloodied knife.

Whilst trying to recover from the experience and not knowing what to do, she gets a letter from an unknown someone. This letter included a place and a time - and the tantalizing mention of news on her missing father.

So, having no choice and needing answers, she goes - only to find nothing other than a wooden box. Within said box lies secrets. Secrets of the government, of a top-secret base... and of her father... and her mother.

Now Terra has to lead a new life, a secret life. Can she uncover the past? Or will things simply go downhill from here on out?
