Rissa, nineteen, hears voices in her head. And no, she's not going insane. Since the seven-year-old her was in a plane crash, the voices of the dead echo around her, never seeming to fade away.
So when, 12 years later after being abducted by a strange creature from a strange universe, the voices suddenly mute themselves, she's stunned. But the absence of them are the least of her problems- now, she must team up with the very organization that changed her world to help keep it the way it is. She'd better succeed- or that same world won't be itself by the time its persecutors are done with it.
