Having been kicked out for the last time, broken up with his girlfriend, and left beaten to a pulp by some not too merciful rivals, he's got himself in a new set of circumstances. ❤︎➪ Esdeath Domitia is doing well in life despite what others perceive on the outside. She's the most popular student at Lincoln High School for dressing provocatively without punishment, sharing the same age as Marshall. She's got a 3.5 GPA and enjoys reading up on politics in her spare time. That isn't all she enjoys though, she's also a major sadist, deep in the world of BDSM. ❤︎➪ The two of them interact briefly at school, and to Esdeath's perspective, Marshall is an already deadbeat loser who's failing in life and he sees her as a socialite slutty bitch that just talks to him for her own personal amusement. When she's met with the visual of a just previously jumped Marshall, lying on the ground just outside her trailer, her mind is running wild... and the thoughts aren't innocent. She's the absurdist antihero of the new millennia. Paul Rosenberg's child is the definition of an eccentric pessimist, sharing her father's impatience and passion for music. So naturally they're inseparable, making things interesting when a childish, broke white boy with box-bleached hair is Paul's passion project. There's very little going for Marshall, but he keeps pushing anyways, often making a fool of himself. Paul spends most of his time with the up and coming rapper, believing that if he works hard enough and introduces him to enough people, someone's going to pick up the pasty white rapper. Marlow and Marshall are very well acquainted, and though Marlow is a few years younger, Marshall's boyish personality makes it incredibly hard to tell. It's hard to decide who's the lesser of two evils between them. A consistently high, widely disrespectful, crude rapper in his early twenties, or an eighteen year old chain-smoking blackmarket criminal whose life purpose is to create chaos? Yeah. Think on that for a bit... It's the year 1999, and things are about to get completely out of hand when a famous rap label takes interest...

Though highly-functional, Nisha lives a deeply troubled life battling Schizophrenia. Days of questioned realities blend into ones of confused happiness or empty thoughts in a distorted head. Her hallucinations and delusions make it difficult for her to trust others or even herself. Marshall Mathers' career is skyrocketing, leading him to be in high demand by everyone. With his divorce finalized and tons of women all over him, it seems impossibly abstract that he'd find Nisha to be the object of his next obsession. Artistic abilities leading her to direct and design Aftermath music videos, she ends up working on 'Without Me' by Eminem, Marshall Mathers himself. She's enticing and contrasting to the people around her, clashing and novel in personality. No doubt he'd notice it quickly. *** "My version of falling in love borderlines on being psychotic. I should be avoided at all costs. I get obsessed with the all consuming tunnel vision. The euphoria." He's quiet now, I watch his body melt and form back together again desperately. I feel his hand come to my thigh, I think I feel it. I'm quiet for a moment. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. I linger on the word psychotic. She isn't easy to understand and she makes it incredibly hard to predict her behaviour. So it's relatively understandable that everyone's hooked on her like she's your newest party drug. Marshall Mathers meets her at his friend's house party and he's falling within seconds of seeing her. It's that type of instant attachment. He needs her to be his, he becomes obsessed. But sometimes you've gotta stop for a moment and ask how obsessive do you become before it's getting concerning? *** "No- here's my frustration. We're always distracting ourselves. With TV, music, news... endlessly, endlessly, until we can't even stomach our own silence, can't fathom creating our own thought, can't handle being alone with ourselves. We always need to be preoccupied." She's letting out an aggravated groan, bringing her hands up in front of her face. I imagine what it's like to have her around all the time. I imagine what it's like waking up to her, having her talking about the darkest things in a way that's stomach-able. I need her.
