The Games have started, and the city of Trolk is getting excited to start. Every fifty years, wizards all over Alheim are selected to be a part of the Games. The winner becomes the King's official Caster.
Alina Karvok is the daughter of a fisherman. She knows next to nothing about magic, but she has always wanted to see the Games. One day, she gets a letter saying that she's been invited to the games. Invited to participate.
