"I love you." It wasn't him who spoke the words it was me. I was terrified to open my eyes. If I did my heart would go into overdrive and probably explode. Keeping them closed probably wasn't the best idea either because the silence was killing me. As I sat and waited for his reply my heart slowly began to race. I took a risk and opened my eyes.
