Jack the Ripper has moved from London to Pittsburgh. A serial killer of unknown identity emerges in the Burgh in the summer of 2020. They go on a rampage and murder eight people of a certain group, each crime more gruesome than the last. The clues they leave behind are never deciphered. That is, until the night before they were supposed to commit the ninth murder. A lame poem written on cardboard and thrown in the trash is read by a random tourist from Switzerland. The young woman has decided to help the team being targeted solve the murders of their teammates. Will she catch the murder and warn potential victims before it's too late? And will meeting the young man from Massachusetts change her life forever? Set during a slightly alternate 2019-20 season, where the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs never happened and the coronavirus pandemic did. ~COMPLETED!~ Word count: about 14k
