Nobody is safe. New York City is on the verge of total anarchy as Gwen Stacy continues to succumb to the dark forces at play inside herself, growing stronger and more violent by the day as remorse over her greatest failure paralyzes her to the influence of the symbiote. Unwilling to watch the hero of the city lose her way, her friends and acquaintances band together to save Gwen from herself, all while the master plans of Oscorp and Doc Ock are bringing the city to its knees. As so much is seemingly ripped away from Gwen-power, friends, hope-a final disaster is unleashed on the city, one that may demand her to make the ultimate sacrifice to save everything that remains.
