Todoroki spends most of his life hiding the truth from his friends and some of his family. The big secret his father forces him to keep is he isn't human...he's wolfblood. This gives him abilities normal people should not have the ability to do. Only one day every month is he truely human, on dark moons, and one day a year he can't control his transformation, the full moon. Not only does he have to maintain control over his quirk but also of his emotions.

Bakugou is kicked out of his house on December 1st (which he nor his family realized this). He goes hunting after his mother reveals their family's species to Bakugou's best friend, Kirishima or Bakugou, Shitty Hair. After catching a buck the storm that lasts all of December begins, forcing Bakugou into another packs territory and den for the month and holidays.
