Reeling from her grandfather's death, the last thing Dylan Reyes expected was to be sucked into her favourite book. Landing in the kingdom of Ecea, she soon learns that the story she adored as a child has been rewritten: the bad guy has won, the handsome prince is dead, and the shy and sweet best friend is an arrogant, foul-tempered warrior. Using her knowledge of the original tale, Dylan has to travel through a dying world, collecting allies along the way, and all to find a mystical orb that could save them from the tyrant sitting on a stolen throne. But, just like the story she grew up reading, this version is far from simple. This isn't a dream, it's reality, and the madman hunting her down will stop at nothing to capture her before she can put the world to rights.
