Two Years Ago...
Blaz befriended a healer he had rescued from the remnants of the dead.
He brought the healer to his werewolf pack in the Northern Mountains and taught the healer how to hunt, how to fight, how to contribute, and how to be a part of something bigger than yourself- a family. And although he had a loving family and friends, he felt that the healer was the one person who understood him and he could confide in.
That was until the healer's true nature was revealed.
Two Years Later...
Blaz was summoned to be a Guard of the Realm by the King of Helios, a position he had to take with great dismay. Under the rule of humans, he will have to be separated from his pack, undergo grueling training, suffer egregious punishments, and be the guard dog of a stubborn, entitled princess. Blaz didn't think his predicament could be any worse...until he is reunited with his scorned friend from two years ago, who has a deadly secret that puts everybody at risk.
