❝ the piercing wind of the chilly night blew through richie's and eddie's hair as they sat on top of the tozier households roof. a chill was sent up eddies spine, causing him to visibly shiver. richie glanced over at eddie, shooting him a loving smile. the taller boy then handed eddie his jacket off of his back. eddie happily took it and wrapped it tightly around his small body. 

"jeez, eddie spaghetti. it's not even that cold out here!" richie exclaimed playfully, giving eddie a playful grin as he saw eddie huff, but a smile was still evident on the smaller males face. 

"rich?" eddie questioned after a few minutes of comfortable silence, his gaze averting to richie. "do you think that after high school... we'll still be friends?"  ❞
