Lilith has always been known to be the wife of Satan, his concubine. It isn't until Satan leaves Gehenna for more than a year does Lilith finally return to Assiah after being thrown out from the Garden of Eden. 

Her search for Satan proves futile as she instead stays with a human man she is infatuated with. Her love for him proves to be true as they give birth to a baby girl. 

But, Lilith's happiness doesn't last long when the Blue Night occurs. Having heard of Lilith's betrayal to him, Satan deals a killing blow to Lilith's human lover and forces her to flee with her daughter. 

In an attempt to hide her daughter from Satan and any of his croonies, she hands her daughter over to her sister-in-law, a current Exorcist in the American branch.

After securing the future of her daughter, Lilith returns to Gehenna and is never heard from again.

Her daughter, Cereza, grows up to be the mirror image of her mother, all except for the brown eyes and hair she inherited from her father.

Now, at the age of 15, Cereza travels to Japan to become an Exorcist as a way to keep living.
