Janne is a physicist who advances aimlessly towards the future.  For now, what he only wants is to finish his thesis, complete his master's degree, proceed to his doctorate, and let life do its job on him. 

Cadence is an engineer who's haunted by the voices inside her head, constantly reminding her to kill herself minute by minute, unless she distracts herself with her flings, art, or academics.

When Janne and Cadence met in the pub one night, they didn't really get what they wanted at the moment. Instead, what they got is the one that they are longing for at the back of their minds-having someone who finally gets you. And when the universe conspired to make their ends meet once again, one found warmth and one found peace.
