"Whether we were happy or sad, does it matter? All I know is that I wish to return to those warm summer days."

There's a library on Verbena Street. It's covered in vines and chipped paint. The bricks are cracked and the roof tiles are close to falling off. It's clear that the library is quite old yet if you ask around, no one can seem to recall when the library was first built. All they can tell you is that the books are always clean and well-kept, the flowers on the porch haven't changed for twenty years, and a foul-mouthed librarian names 'Al' lives within it.

There are many rumors about 'Al'. Some say he was a runaway soldier from Levan, hiding in an enemy nation to escape persecution. Others argue that he was an immortal sorcerer planning to destroy the continent, biding his time. There are even those that swear he's behind the recent kidnappings of children from noble families.

This doesn't discourage a group of curious students from the nearby academy from visiting the library though.
