Many of you know how I came to be. Who I was before. But this is me after my shift. My first shift. And now, continuing with my new life.

"What do you mean, she doesn't remember anything?" My ears twitched at the rough sound of a male voice, quickly becoming agitated from the throbbing pain in my skull.
"Lucas, she has been shifting back in forth. We have no way of telling how she is going to cope with the constant change in instinct." The noises were extremely unpleasant, to the point of me wanting to cry.
"I JUST GOT HER BACK! I DID EVERYTHING THAT I COULD HAVE DONE!" There goes that voice again. I don't like it when he sounds so mad though. I'm just glad that I'm not on the receiving end of that, let me tell ya.
His tone switched in a split second, making me want to whimper at the pain I heard. "I wanted to do everything for her. Be exactly who she wanted me to be. I loved her, little did she know. I just want her to be okay.."
That memory is the only one that I have. I don't remember when that happened, nor am I completely sure that I want too. Right now, I think I'll hide in that little black pit in the back of my sleepless mind.
