     I thought pettiness ran out after middle school, that high school, as horrible as it's made to seem, would be better. There are hundreds of kids and I just prayed that no one amongst them chose me. I just wanted to be free, away from all the drama, away from them. Somehow they did, they chose me and they chose to be inconsiderate assholes. Petty 12-year-olds if I'm being honest. I never noticed the small things though, unlike middle school the kicks weren't as hard and the threats were less severe. It's like he didn't want to hurt me anymore but he had to. It might come as a surprise, but I think he likes me... And I think I like him too...
