Kaylee grew up with a normal life for the most part. One night changes everything when her father is gunned down by the police in front of their house. The burden becomes too much for her mother to bare alone so she ups and moves in with her sister. Kaylee isn't enthusiastic about moving to a new city and attending a new school. Still, she'd do anything to see her mom happy again. But when her mother seems to only get worst, Kaylee's left feeling neglected and hopeless, like she's in a new city all alone.

He's forced to a new city with his sick grandmother and had never felt more out of place. And his aggressive demeanor doesn't help with being in a new place.
