Football's not a sport for women and girls? yeah right. Gia Oliver is a 23 year old professional footballer for Tottenham Hotspur where she has trained since she was 8 years old. It has been a whole year since all football teams (league and after 1 year national squads) were told they would have to include a woman in the first team to make a start on bridging the gap the between men's and women's game. Gia was picked as England's no1 female as she played a big part in getting her team (men's 1st team) to 4th in the premiere league and second in the champions league as well as aiding the lionesses to a world cup semi final with her many goals and assists. Now its time for Gia to represent her country in the men's England squad whilst juggling a club transfer to Liverpool men's 1st team. Of course things are never straight forward when a tonne of changes happen and add in competitive alpha males, things are bound to get interesting for this young forward.
