Hush

The sound of faint birds singing could be heard as the sky had a dark blue color while a slight pink color peeked out from the horizon, the terrible smell of rotting body's is very present as it would even bring the most strongest mans stomach to churn in disgust. Morning due had already settled on the tall trees and grass as it slightly masked the unbearable scent it was close to six o'clock in the morning in a small town called Azle, Texas, it wasn't as well known as Fort Worth or Arlington but never the less it was an alright town well.... Before to say the least what the meaning behind on what that ment was a few months ago some kind of plague of sorts broke out, it caused people to slowly die but the strangest part was that they came back but they weren't them anymore every memory, every thought, anything that use to be them? Gone just like that it was like the human part had died along with them but they could move and walk but they could only eat not food like anyone or anything else they wanted human flesh to thrive off of, some said it was a sick punishment by God himself while others said it was all the government's faults and they wanted to "decrease population" but there is one thing for certain you need to survive or else you'll join the reanimated corpses but no one seems to know where the deadly illness manifested.
