The Overseers

Once every generation, the Overseers of the three realms of man gather for the trials, a competition that will determine which bloodline will rule which realm. Kenna, daughter of the Overseer of Below, the realm of souls, is tacked with ensuring her family no longer suffers the fate of dealing with the dead.
But a dark prophecy turns the trial on its head when Kenna is told that in order to win she must die. A conspiracy throws the balance of the three realms off centre and a massive war ensues. Now Kenna must save her bloodline while avoiding the prophecy that seems to chase her around every corner.
