It's the year 2090, and overpopulation has become a crisis. The global population has surpassed twelve billion, and is still growing. It has come time for the government to take desperate measures.
It's a cruel world. Suffering is everywhere, but in the midst of the normal pain, Nova sees one person who is hurting. And for some reason she cannot let them die.
After the government enforces schemes to attempt to half the world's population, will her hidden desires alone be enough, or will she -against the status quo- take matters into her own hands?

Despite the scientific progress and clean way of living, there are whispers and rumours of those with an ancient and corrupting power, casting a shadow and murdering those of evolved abilities just like her. There are fears of the world ending once more, but if Lilith wishes to stop such a devastating force, then she must be prepared to not only make a sacrifice, but to find out the truth of how it all began. Left for Dead (book 1 in the Super Nova series)
So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine.
