"I saw it. You're writing a fiction? Why would you write a story putting me with someone I hate to love?"
"If you don't have feelings for him, then there shouldn't be a problem. Right?"
"Harmony."
"Hm?"
"I swear. I wish that your story was real if I even had a sliver of feelings for him."
"You realize that you just swore? If you do, you'll cause the book to be real. And that means that anything I write happens. And the only person who can change it, is me."

Harper Wilkins finds that her sister is writing a fiction with herself and her friends in it. After her vow, she wakes up the next day to find the story is coming true. But when she warns Cammie, Cammie thinks she is too much. But Cammie soon finds this exaggerated story to be true. All the couples in Harmony's story begin to form. And when Cammie starts to fall for Zach, she begins to wonder if a girl like her has a chance with a guy like him.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past.
